Hi I’m Camilla (she/her). I am an early career researcher at the University of Stirling.

My main research interests are in the fields of social stratification and inequality, with a particular focus on gender-based inequalities; and quantitative research methodologies.

In 2020, I virtually graduated from my PhD, I’m told I might get an in person graduation in 2022 Corona dependent so that is exciting! My thesis explored how quantitative researchers can account for intersectionality when measuring woman social positions. My former supervisor Paul Lambert (also on the team) and I wrote a related book chapter on this topic. I’m excited to explore how these techniques can support research into intersectional LGBT+ welfare experiences in this project.

Since graduating, I have been working on another Nuffield funded project . This involved managing a large volume of data sets from various sources to explore the impact of policy change on educational inequalities. This has been excellent practice for this project in which we will explore a large number of rich data resources.
